Attracting The Big Guns Build A Really Big MLM Team In As Little As Six Months With These Simple Yet Powerful Secrets By Greg Arnold
Attracting top quality people it's a lot like hunting. When you go hunting, it's important to know something about the beast you're hunting. You need to know where they live, what and when they eat. You need to know something about how they live, their families, what they like and don't like. If you know these things you can figure out how to be more effective hunting them.
The same thing applies when you are hunting for new team members. It is very important to understand human nature. Read How to Win Friends and Influence People. This book is a very valuable tool in understanding human nature. People are emotional creatures. Almost every decision they make is an emotional one. At first I thought we were ruled by logic. What I found out is that people make their decisions based on emotion and they justify those decisions with logic. I also found out that when I approached people about joining forces with me, the more logical reasons I gave for the alliance, the more skeptical they became.
It was only after I became very emotional about what we were putting together did they begin to respond to me favorably. What I learned by this was, the more logically you approach someone, the more skeptical they become. And, the more emotionally you approach someone, the more excited they become. I also found that if you speak from your head, people will respond to you with their head and become skeptical. If you speak from your heart, it bypasses their skeptical brain and hits them straight in their emotional heart. Then they start to get excited about what you're doing and want to join you.
People need to be part of something special. They need crusades. If we don't stand for something, we'll fall for anything. I always speak of the big goal and how it can change all our lives for the better. As we begin to see the big goal together, we begin to move towards it together.
An interesting challenge with mlm is it is typical to have wonderful products or services to sell. So wonderful, most people get very wrapped up in them and lose sight of what business they are in. While it is true that each of us is a retail outlet for our products, it is also true that - He who has the most outlets wins! It seems to me that if you are aiming at a retail sale, it would take a lucky ricochet to hit a new team member or outlet. At the same time, if you are aiming at a new outlet, the worst that could happen is you would get a retail sale, because you demonstrate your products even with a recruiting presentation. So, I believe it is important that you only set appointments with potential new team members based on the opportunity and never on the products or services that you offer.
The Secret to Attracting The Big Gun
Everyone needs a crusade or a goal that is bigger than himself. Something that is good and has purpose. Something that makes them feel good and gives their life meaning. If you have a crusade, you can attract others to it. If you are in it only for the profit, you will have nothing special to attract the leaders, and they will be suspicious of your motives. Leaders are offered tremendous profits by amateurs everyday. On the other hand, the great recruiters always offer leaders the challenge of their lives.
Once you begin to attract leaders, you must help them to be successful with you right away. Ask them to give you a list of 52 people they know, which will be potential future crusaders. Also have them identify their top four people on the list or, as in a deck of 52 cards, their four aces. Once they have identified their four aces, take them out to present your crusade, two on one or on a three-way call or in a private chat room, to those four aces within the first 24 to 72 hours. Two-on-one, leader-to-leader recruiting is the most powerful and dynamic way you can build your organization. These first few recruits will possibly be your team captains and these team captains have the ability to build much faster and much stronger than most team members do.
Also, you must challenge all your team captains and team members early in their association with you. In addition to their list of 52 names, have them write down their goals and expectations for their first 90 days and first year in the business. Have them give you a copy of these goals and every time you counsel with them about their business, work with them toward accomplishing their goals. Always talk to your team members about their goals, and help them to achieve their goals. By helping them to make their dreams come true, your dreams will come true also. So you cannot help them too much!
Do not pick your team captains too early in their association with you. You must assume that everyone on your team is going to be a team captain. However, we know from experience that they won't all be leaders. In fact, most of the time, the more wonderful they tell you they are, the bigger disappointment they become. When someone sticks his head up and begins to assume a leadership role, you must begin to work very closely with that person and take an active role in their career.
Always challenge your team to reach a little higher and run a little further. Keep the big goal in front of them. That is why it is so important that you know what your team members' goals are. When they know how much you care about their success and their families and their lives, they will be loyal to you for life. And you will be rewarded richly with many wonderful friends....And a really big MLM Team!

Network Marketing Training- The MLM Success Secrets of Explaining Your MLM Comp Plan by Doug Firebaugh
Money.
That is what drives the MLM industry. The quest for a better life, a better future, and a better income.
Why did you join your network marketing company?
For something to do?
Yeah -- right.
That is why 99% of all folks who enroll in MLM companies join -- for a better lifestyle. And the hope of making more money is what drives the network marketing industry.
Every MLM company has a way they pay their distributors, known as a "Compensation Plan." Or "Comp Plan". Your company has one and that is how you are paid, by the volume you have created by the Comp Plan.
You go out, and create Volume of sales, and you get a certain percentage of the sales. Most plans focus on the sale, or movement of mlm products and services to the marketplace, and that is what drives the wealth vehicle of network marketing.
There are different types of Network Marketing Comp Plans, and there are many more Hybrid forms.
But generally there are 5 different types, and you need to really understand the Plan that your network marketing company has.
The 5 Basic Kinds of MLM Compensation Plans are:
1)The Stairstep 2)The Unilevel 3)The Binary 4)The Breakaway 5)The Matrix
1)The Stairstep
The Stairstep is a simple plan that has requirements that you must meet to get up the "Stairs of Success." Each stairstep is a promotion based on Volume usually, and each promotion you make more money. Usually you must qualify each month for the rank you obtain to get paid at that rank. And the stairstep usually has a number of levels it pays down to.
2)The Unilevel
The Unilevel is a simple "Number of levels" that the MLM company will pay you, and usually there is no promotion or rank. You make money by getting a certain override off of the volume, and usually there is a requirement of volume to qualify for a check. Most affilaite programs operate this way.
3)The Binary.
The Binary is an interesting design for a Comp Plan. It usually has 2 "legs" that you can have "Business centers" in, and you have a volume requirement to get paid on each leg. There is what is called "balance" in the Binary. You must balance in some form the volume from each leg to make sure you don't have a runaway leg. One leg explodes, while the other one sits idle. You must balance the two, and you usually can override the same volume a number of times with different business centers.
4)The Breakaway.
Some forms of this plan have become somewhat unpopular in the industry, as you can lose the business in a leg you build, once it gets to a certain level of success, and it "breaks away" to no longer be a part of what you get paid on. Some other forms do not have this feature -- you can keep your business in every leg, even if it gets to the breakaway point. Depends on the type of stairstep you are usiing. It usually is a stairstep type of Plan, but I have seen it in others as well.
5)The Matrix
The matrix is a computer driven plan that people are placed into your group by computer, and they go in the next available slot. Usually this plan is combined with some form of a Binary, and it does work well if there are a lot of people that are recruited. When you recruit someone, the computer searches down for the next open slot, and positions them there. There are some plans that allow you to override the computer's selection if you want them to go a particular place in your downline.
Ok...so now you must see what kind of plan you have. See your upline if you have any questions at all, and get familiar with the plan you have and how it works.
INFERNO Secret:
DO NOT get too complicated on telling the mlm plan to someone. Keep it simple and make sure they understand that they CAN MAKE MONEY with it, as that is their greatest concern.
They are thinking, "Can I make money with this? And is anyone else doing it?"
Generally, when you talk about an MLM Comp Plan, you will want to mention 4 general areas about it that many people will want to know about.
1)The First area is Retail Profit.
You must show the prospect that they can earn a retail profit with your products and services...usually it about 40- 50%...
2)The Second Area is Team Overrides.
This is where, just like a Real Estate broker, or Insurance Broker, you can develop a team of Reps and help them become successful, and get paid a certain % of override off of them, just like the Real Estate and Insurance Brokers do. You are sort of a "Master Broker" for your company, and help others do the same thing. This is where most people have trouble with MLM. They don't understand that what we do is just like a Real Estate or Insurance Broker, only better.
3)The Third Area is Leadership Bonuses.
This is where you help develop Successful Network Marketing leaders in your group, and you get an additional bonus or override from your group. You get rewarded by helping others develop their Leadership -- the most fair compensation in the world.
4)The Fourth Area are Rewards -- like trips and cars.
This area is a favorite among Network Marketers. Once you have reached a level of success, many companies will give you an additional car payment money, and also take you on trips that you can qualify for -- a great incentive to work!!!
Be sure you understand the components of your MLM Comp Plan. This was just a VERY General Overview, and that is all.
Again.....KEEP THE Network Marketing Comp PLAN SIMPLE.
The More Simple you keep it, the more powerful it becomes, as does your MLM and Network Marketing Success!
blessings...doug
